Hi Guys, when can we expect the next tees in the shop? Got some notes burning a hole in my pocket here…
Cheers, Steven
Steven218
Hi Steven, we're just in the process of choosing our next batch of winners this week (Frankly, its whenever we can all make it to the pub!). Hopefully we'll have new tees online in the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for your support. Keep spreading the word.

Would it be possible to have a ladies skinny fit t shirt made with THE WHO logo printed in glitter?
Jane
Err, no. Sorry. We don’t do one-off prints, especially not of designs that have not been done by our members. Anyway, The Stones were better!
-
Why have you only got 5 shirts for sale, and with so many good ones waiting to be rated, I wannem now!
DottyDomino

Two questions: do you guys ship to South Africa. Secondly: the sizing chart is somewhat confusing - is the chest measurement only for the front? 36" for small seems mighty big to me! My chest measurement (front only) is 23", so what is the best size? Thanks!
manfred
Hi Manfred,
We have now added South Africa to our list of coutries that we deliver to.
In relation to our chest size measurements, they relate to your chest circumference and not your chest width. This is common among most UK retailers.
Hope this helps,
-
What is the issue number you require for the payment? The CV2 number is the same as the CCV number - last 3 digits on the reverse of the card. But I've not heard of an issue number before?
manfred
Hi Manfred,
The issue number is not a mandatory field as it is not applicable to all Credit / Debit cards .
Cheers, Team Teetonic

I am helping to launch a new product that will be selling nationwide next year… We are launching in Selfridges in January and we are looking for a top-quality company to help us with out T-shirts for our promotion models (girls). Our requirements are a pretty pink (possible 2-3 different pinks from bright baby pink to fuscia) with printed wording front and back. Ideally we would like the T-shirts to be slightly fitted, slightly boat necked with cupped sleeves. Would you be able to help with this and if so could you email me ASAP? Many thanks, Anya
Guest
Hi Anya,
We should be able to help you. If you want to contact me directly at lesley@teetonic.com and provide me some more details about yourself and your requirements I will be happy to help you.

Hi, I love most of the designs on teetonic, and the recent drop to £15 makes me want more, but I'm not a fan of rounded neck t-shirts - are you ever going to offer t-shirt in men's v-neck? I look much more manly in a v-neck you see.
Guest
We are looking at other styles for the future. Thanks for your input. -
Hi, could i possibly get the contact details of the person that handles the advertising for students in the uk? Thanks Tony
Guest

do you use screening printing or heat trasfare? i think from the images in your website it looks like your using heat transfare. can you clear that for me before ordering please.
Guest
Thanks for your question. We use high quality heat transfers. -
I went through the process of buying a shirt and input a promotional code. Each time I hit the final 'ok' to purchase, I kept getting that my code had been accepted & my cart was updated but no final order status. I'm using Firefox; could it be an issue w/ that? I don't want my card to be charged multiple times.
kmac
Can you let me know which promo code you are using? There has been some work on the shop but we have no other problems we know of. We'll check to make sure you are not being charged.
Regards

- Submission Questions (22)
-
can we put a design on the back of the shirt as well?
please_be_quiet
You sure can. If it makes your design even better then go for it. We’ve even made some tees with designs on the back like Breakdancing Rules for example.
-
when will mine be up
nickdean
We're going to assume that you're talking about a design you've entered to Teetonic, nick. If that's not the case, there's plenty of other sites on the internet that could help you out with your "problem".
Designs submitted to teetonic are given the once over by one of our specially trained breed of Guatemalan judging monkeys. Once they're satisfied that none of the design guidelines are being broken, they'll progress it for voting onto the site. This usually happens the same day you submit, but occasionally can take longer if the monkeys were out the night before.
Cheers!
-
Can someone from overseas like asia specifally philippines can join the competition?
blexxethemen
I'm glad to say that Teetonic is open to everyone except Smurfs - they just freak us out too much. I mean, they're blue for god sake!
-
Hi, I'm getting ready to submit a design but need your logo and font to finish the design I have traced it but would like to have it perfect. I was wondering if you could forward me an .ai file of the logo?
Tony
Yep, you can download the teetonic logo to use in your designs. Whilst we really don’t mind you using our logo, it’s not at all necessary. We may run specific teetonic promotional tee shirt design competitions in the future when you will be able to use it till your hearts content.
-
Am I free to use any colour of T-shirt for my designs or have you some propositions for it?
Branislav
If you download one of our templates (Illustrator or Photoshop) you will see the colours that we recommend you should use for your design.
-
Is it the 'fuck you' bit in the speech bubble that stopped my design getting through? Be handy for future reference to know that expletives aren't accepted.
Yer Dad
Swearing ain’t big and it ain’t clever right!. However, if we deem it to be an integral part of your design we don’t have a problem with it. We can swear just as well as anyone else can – you should hear us on a Monday morning!
-
Hi, I submitted 3 designs yesterday... One got accepted but the other 2 are not up... does that mean they were rejected or that you guys just haven't got to them yet? Thanks. PS I love the site! Very nice concept!
Rocki
It could mean we’ve not got to them yet, either that or we are still deciding whether they should be allowed on the site as there may be some debate over whether they meet our criteria.
-
Why do you make the designs go through an approval process when you don't even filter out the designs with more than 4 colors? I mean a quarter of the designs have more than 4 colors...
Is it just to filter out spam or something?
humili
Hey humili. The approval process for designs is useful for a number of reasons, the most obvious being that there are certain designs we simply cannot accept - for example, if they cross the line between satire and copyright infringement, or if they’re particularly offensive.
The guidelines for design submissions are just that - guidelines. Each design progressed for voting on the site is considered on it’s merits, and if we like a shirt that breaks the guidelines, the chances are we’ll still put it up for the world to see. We are human after all!
I should also point out that there is no doubt that you’ve got a much better chance of winning the competition if you stick to the guidelines (especially staying off the seams and using a maximum of 4 colours) as they can have such an impact on the printing process.
Hope that answers your question :)
-
hi again, i've tried to submit my design again, i tried in firefox and ie and still no joy. at the thumbnail screen the image wont show up and it's frozen :[
adamu
hi,
yeah we noticed the problem again. we are going to look into it and we will get back to you later today.
cheers,
david

Teetonic.com competition entries Legal Terms and Conditions
- 8. If your Design wins the competition, you agree that your submission of that Design constitutes an assignation to Worn Out of all Rights in that Design (the “winning Design”). Worn Out will own exclusively all Rights and shall not be limited in any way in its use, for commercial or other purposes, of any winning Designs. All winning Designs shall become and remain Worn Out property. However, if in time you wish to use the winning Design for commercial purposes yourself, Worn Out will always act positively towards any proposal by you to use the winning Design for commercial purposes and act reasonably in negotiating an agreement on suitable terms for such use by you.

For the purposes of these terms and conditions, “Rights” shall mean all rights, title and interest in and to any copyright, inventions, discoveries, trade names, trade marks (registered and unregistered) designs and design rights (registered and unregistered), badges of trade, get-up, and any other intellectual property rights of a cognate or similar nature arising anywhere in the world in the Design.
- 10. To the extent that any Rights in winning Designs do not automatically vest in Worn Out by operation of law, you shall hold such Rights on trust for Worn Out and shall assign such Rights to Worn Out on demand. You shall at the request of Worn Out do all acts and execute all such further documents, forms and authorisations as may be required to vest the Rights in winning Designs in Worn Out. You irrevocably appoint to be your attorney or agent in your name and on your behalf to do all such acts and things and to sign all such documents and forms as may be necessary in order to vest the Rights in winning Designs in Worn Out. Hi, I've submitted my design for the Six Cities Competition at 21st March but i can't see it for voting until now. May i know what is going on? Thank you. Regards, Ganeshu
Ganeshu
Hi Ganeshu,
This competition was slightly different from the normal Teetonic competitions . No designs were progressed until after the closing date for submissions 21st March . The closing date for voting is 5th April. This means that all the designs submitted can be seen at once and can all be voted for within this period only. This change to the competition rules was stated among the details of the competition.
I hope this answers your question.
Regards
The teetonic team -
is the contest open internationally? can anyone who becomes a member submit no matter where they are worldwide or is only open to people in certain countries?
mogo
The competition is open to anyone over 16 internationally. We have had winners from Argentina, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and the UK. We also have customers in ,many corners of the world. So get designing. -
Hi, i've tried at least 3 times to submit a particular design and it never shows up as accepted. However, one of my other designs was put through with no problems. How can i find out what's stopping my design being approved?
kitgw
We have a screening process, whereby we check all the tees before they go on the site. This allows us to stop designs going onto the site that we deem to be objectionable, offensive, using copyrighted material, balatantly ripped off, don't meet our guidelines or sometimes we feel the designer needs to try harder and produce a better design or idea.
Our guidelines state that the design should have no more than 4 colours and shouldn't use gradients or transparent layers. You should also keep the design off the seams - we tend not to print large-scale images so your design stands a better chance of making it onto the site if it isn't all over the front, back and sleeves.
Remember the design must be your own original unpublished work and must not contain any third-party logos, trademarks or copyright material.

How long does the thumb nail loading bar take to upload the t-shirts. Ive tried 3 times and have waited 10 min and given up. Thanks
mattfranco
There might be a problem with the type of file you are trying to upload. Please send it to kevin@teetonic.com and we will get it uploaded for you! Thanking you! -
I'm from China.I like your tee when i see your products.Do you have BBS or E-mail address i can get touch?I would like know more about your team and your products. Thanks

Hi Mark! Drop me a line at kevin@teetonic.com with any questions or queries that aren't answered on the site -
I hate to be a bother, but I submitted a design three days ago titled "Cage goes into the water." As my designs have usually gone through very quickly this one has not. I am wondering is it still in the process of being approved or was it rejected. If it was rejected will I receive an email stating the reasons for the rejection to keep me from repeating them. Thank you for your help. I really enjoy your site and don't submit frequently, but I do peruse and vote very often. Sometimes I can even be found making a comment. Keep up the good work.
JaleebCaru
It should be up now.

Monday early in the evening I download a design for the wet wet wet competition. It's a png-file, 168kb so no problem at all should I think. But untill sofar I haven't seen my design back on your site? Did something went wrong? For the security I tried it again yesterday evening.....How long does it take?
Guest
All the designs have to be approved to ensure that they meet the competition guidlines and that they are not inappropriate ie. offensive, racist, etc . The time taken to appear on the site can vary therefore depending on the number of designs submitted. Don't worry under the normal competition rules all designs uploaded onto the site have the same amount of time allowed for voting ie normally a design submitted on the first day of the competition is allowed 30 days on the site for voting and commenting on as does a design submitted on the last day of the competition. -
I have tried to submit an entry for the WWW competition but I am unsure if it has been received, how will I know for sure as today is the closing date and i don't want to miss out????
Linsey
Hi Linsey,
If your design is not currently on the site, and you have not recieved an email confirming that it has been progressed by our team then we have either not received it, it has been rejected (based on our guidelines and submission criteria) or there has been a problem with your design.
Please feel free to attempt to submit again.
Teetonic Team.

Download template question.. 1) once download illustrator template, I was leaded to "Adobe Illustrator" CS3 2) WhaT TO DO NEXT? Download which software or I have to buy the sofeware? Please let me know! Many thanks Hyan
Guest
Our templates are available in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop formats. These are recognised, industry-standard design applications and we think they're the best to use to create your t-shirt design. It is possible that you may be able to open and use the templates in other applications, however we recommend that you use of these two. -
Do you support "Belt Printing"? Can I have a seamless image that wraps around the lower portion of a shirt?
Guest
Please refer to submission guidelines. Designs cannot cover seams. -
i was just wondering, on the rules it states that only four colour are aloud. is that including black? and is it including the tshirt colour, i ask because when looking at some of the competion ones i noticed some seem to have more colours, they have used black as well. i thought it best i check so i dont waist my time : )
bluemonkey
The rules state four colours (not including the t-shirt colour) but as time has gone on we accept the odd extra colour. -
I was just wondering if there is anyway to delete a submission? Maybe even edit it at all?
whateverkathryn
Just let us know what one it is you want to delete and we'll take it down and you can re-submit.

heya! enjoying the site, and having some work up… i was wondering how you decide what designs win? and when do they get announced? what happnes when their time is up? thanks very much for your help!
alexbec
Much like Willy Wonka's secret everlasting gobstopper recipe, the selection of winners is a secret process that only a chosen few have the privilege to determine. A secret so powerful that men have died to protect it and there are those who would kill to expose it.
Sorry, it all got a bit Da Vinci Code there.
Nah, but seriously, we take our lead from how the teetonic public vote. If they tells they like a design then the chances are we might end up making it. So its up to you, the designers to pimp your designs and get as many votes as you can.
There's no set period as to when we choose a new winner but we do aim for at least one a month. When the designs are no longer available to vote on, they simply fall into our achive (which you can access from our Rate page). We may even go back and delve into the archive from time to time to pick a winner. You never know.
-
Hello my 4 millionth email to you here, i cud be arrested for stalking but no reply god damn u all! ;)
Can u submit more than 1 design?
miskellaneous
You may submit as many designs as you like to teetonic.com. From time to time we will have more than one competition open at a time, in this instance your design(s) may only be entered into one of these competitions (you'll be given the choice as part of the submission process).
Don't fret about contacting us, you can do it any time. You're quite a few emails away from a restraining order just yet!
-
In case my design wins, should I send you this design in better resolution? I find that 1000x750 72 or 150 dpi is to small and not good for printing process!
Branislav
Only if your design is a winner do we need your design in a high resolution format. Generally winning designs need to be supplied in Adobe Illustrator format or as a high resolution Adobe Photoshop file. It’s worth bearing this in mind when creating your designs.
-
Can I rate via e-mail?
Bertonedes
Sorry Bertonedes, the only way to rate is via the website.
-
ive notised that some people have submitted a few designs for the same competition, like ( watchthisglow, izzy and some other people), even though the designs have the same concept, how many can you submit at one time? could you also submit totally different design for the same competition or am I just rabbeling on abit ? :)
jamma
hi,
sorry for the delay in replying. users can submit multiple entries to a competition. however, were a tshirt is submitted to a competition, that design may not be submitted to another competition.
i hope that clarifies things for you.
cheers,
david
-
does the rating have to be "I'd wear it" to get the design to print?
Lankydan
No - not all the time. The final decision is made by Teetonic's team of web monkeys, although obviosuly the better the score the more it sways them - that's why you should get your friends (if you have any ; ) )and family to vote for you!
-
Hey guys! I'm preparing a sub for The Sun comp. and I'm gonna be real busy next week. Can you tell when's the last minute I can sub for it? is it FRIDAY 1st at 23:59:59 GMT? Thanks! Willy
willypiva
23:59:59 on the 1st would be fine - you can enter right up to the last minute. -
What if others registering accounts and rate for themselves ? Like 1 people registering for more than 1 account and rate.
capboyz
Hi Capboyz,
We do not prevent users from creating multiple accounts and voting, however we have our own checks in the system so that voting does not get skewed. And remember we have final say on who wins!
Hope this helps ; )
-
Dunno if you got my question right, so I send again: what has happened with The Sun comp? I'm really anxious to know who the winner is, when you going to announce it? cheers! and happy new year!
willypiva
Hey Willy,
We're working with the guys at The Scottish Sun to narrow down the finalists and the winner will be anounced (earlyish) in the new year.
Cheers
-
Do you only have 1 comp running @ the moment? There are no entrys for all your other comps (eg. T-Mobile, Sun). Are they over? I cant find any info about them.
Guest
The number of competitins we have running varies. The teetonic competition is non-stop but often we have sponsored competitions running concurrently. The T-Mobile and Sun Competitions are finished.
-
very interesed in the competition.. just wondering though, Im in australia and want to know if its worth it for me to enter not.. Is the competitions open to anyone in the world?.. or just local?.. thanks..
Guest
Yep, All our competitions are open to everyone. Teetonic.com is a worldwide phenomenon so come on in and enjoy the fun. -
See the winning Ts from the competition, do you produce male and female versions for your shop. If so, do you change the colours to suit each, or does the winner do that. Thanks
Fm92
Usually all tees are made in a Unisex style and only some are made in the female style tee. We would take note of any sugggestions made by the designer regarding colour and usually produce the tees in the colour suggested but on occasions we may suggest an alternative colour or be limited by the colour of tees available. -
Is it possible for you to run a competition for me. I am a one man band working in the entertainment lighting business and I want to have t-shirts made to give a way as presents to clients this christmas. It would just need to incorporate my logo and web address somewhere. I don't know if this is something you do but I thought I'd ask. Cheers Sam
Guest
Hi Sam
If you want to discuss this further please send us your contact details and we'll take it from there.

the Wet,Wet,Wet Competition has ended. The winner will be announced shortly. -

Guest
Very soon -
Now that the chillax compettion has ended when will the results be handed out ...just wondering becuase it says 16 days remaining on my design for some reason, can you explain please?
hassansesay
Entries to the Chillax competition are closed, however voting continues. Each design is available for 30 days to be voted on. This ensures that even those designs that were submitted on the last day of entry have the same amount of time to get as many votes as those submitted on the first day.
Therefore, voting closes 30 days after the last entry date and a winner will be selected and announced shortly afterwards .
-
why can we only use 4 colours or less with out gradients or transparent layers??
Guest
A couple of reasons...
Firstly, our manufacturing process means that we will not always be able to replicate gradients as well as you can on screen so by not allowing them it means we keep the quality of our tees to a high standard by only printing solid colours.
Secondly, by not using any more than 4 colours we are challenging our members to be creative. To think about how to use colour to get their design / message across. Also, we don't just want people putting photographs on tees - that is not design. By not allowing more than 4 colours, gradients or transparent layers we try to lead people to think about what they are 'designing'.
-
Hi! Regarding colors - is it 4 in total or 4 with the T-shirt background color, and are the variations of the color allowed or gradients between these colours. Thank you
Guest
We allow 4 printed colours plus the colour of the t-shirt.
No variations of the colour or gradients are allowed either.

Hello, I'm currently running a t-shirt design competition for indie musician Ingrid Michaelson on her website. Would you mind if I made use of your design templates (they are excellent) for the competition? Thanks for the help. -Nathan
